The Tennessee Drug Diversion Task Force is a partnership between local, state and federal law enforcement, governmental state agencies and healthcare professionals dedicated to the safe and proper use of prescription medication.

Mission Statement: To prevent the illegal distribution, abuse or unintended use of prescription drugs in Tennessee through awareness, training, and networking with law enforcement, regulatory agencies, healthcare providers and the private sector.

Purpose: The statewide task force was originated to be a strategic planning and policy making task force for its stakeholders. Its goal is to shine light on the growing problem of prescription drug diversion and create a group of people dedicated to the prevention, regulation, detection, investigation and prosecution of prescription drug diversion.
